Description
The 15th Biennial NUWCDIVNPT, NCMA-RI Industry Days will be held May 29-30, 2018 at the Atlantic Beach Resort in Newport, RI
This is an unclassified conference with the opportunity for attendees to hear from Senior Navy/NUWC Leadership about the Undersea Warfare Center’s “… clear line of sight into our needs…” for Industry over the next 2-3 years. It will also provide several reverse industry engagement scenarios to provide the opportunity for industry to identify what is working and what is not working well in the acquisition cycle.
With the SECNAV’s theme of Faster and Frugal, the focus of this conference are to:
- Identifying how the current acquisition cycle impacts industry costs and explore how future processes might improve the speed of execution with accompanying vignettes to help improve clarity
- Current and future technical and support opportunities for industry partners to assist NUWC in their undersea warfare mission
